Physical education and varsity athletics
The physical growth and development of Trinitas students is as important as the intellectual and spiritual growth. In addition to weekly participation in our K-12 physical education program where we teach a variety of team sports and personal fitness principles, our older students also engage in a variety of varsity athletic opportunities such as volleyball, baseball, soccer, and cross-country.
While our teams have won multiple regional and conference championships, our focus is on the development of Christian character in our students rather than on winning games. We find the competition component of athletics, and the heated moments it brings with it, provides another tool for developing Christian virtue in young women and men. We train our players to give their very best for the glory of God and the good of the Kingdom, and to love God and neighbor even through the heat of competition.
